- Must have proven experience in painting before.
- Must have good knowledge of colors and mixing of colors.
- Must have good mathematical skills.
- Must have good knowledge of using different type of painting equipment.
- Must have good knowledge of painting techniques.
- Must be able to paint walls and other surfaces as per instructions.
- Must be able to fill cracks and holes with proper material.
- Must be able to apply varnish and other finishes.
- Must be able to calculate the cost of paint and other material required for the job.
- Must have safety and health precautions.
- Must be able to work under supervision.
