- Open the USCEAC website that is US Department of state Consular Electronic Application website, and look for the option of the DS-160 form. Write down the note of DS-160 form barcode.
- After that make payment for the application fees. Keep the receipt with you with receipt number.
- Now after payment book your appointment date and time slot. Please note that you have to book 2 appointments. The first appointment is for the biometric submission at your nearest VACs, and the second one is for the interview at the USA embassy or consulate.
- Now wait for your appointment date for biometrics, on the day of appointment carry your passport, appointment confirmation page, DS – 160 form and other documents to VAC. At the VAC they will take your fingerprints and digital photograph.
- Now once biometric done wait for your visa interview date. Now the visa interview you have to visit the USA embassy or consulate. Please reach at location 30 minute prior to appointment schedule along with passport, appointment confirmation page, documents and VACs stamped DS – 160 from.
